- HENS Book Study
The HENS will begin studying the book "Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible" by Liz Curtis Higgs on Sunday, March 2 from 2-4 pm (Chapters 1-4) and Sunday, April 6 (Chapters 5-8). You can pick up your copy at Barnes and Noble. Fifteen copies are being held at the front counter under the name St. Paul's. VBS is scheduled for Sunday, August 10- Thursday, August 14 from 5:30-8:00 pm. Pack your gear, prepare to set sail, and discover how to live God’s unshakeable truth on Outrigger Island™.
Through the examples of Bible people, you also will learn what it means to know, speak, and live the truth:
• God is real
• Jesus is God’s Son
• Jesus is the only way
• The Bible is God’s Word
• My actions show what I believe
In this one-week adventure, you will hear Bible stories, participate in cool crafts, warm up to motivating music, eat snacks at the Snack Shack, and play games at Recreation Reef. - VBS Planning Meeting
Invitation and Reminder - VBS is scheduled for Sunday, August 10- Thursday, August 14 from 5:30-8:00 pm. This year we will have a truly inter generational VBS—classes for preschool- adults! The theme is Outrigger Island: discovering how to live God's unshakable truth. We still need two committees to serve and prepare dinner. The first VBS planning meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 at 6pm. If you are unable to attend, but want to help, contact Laura Schmidt NOW to volunteer (we already have a volunteers for crafts and music!). - Need Something Posted On This Website?
